Jeff Lindemeyer has more than 20 years of experience working in a professional kitchen.
As a teenager, he worked for a family restaurant in his hometown of Celina, Ohio, where he quickly learned he had a passion for cooking great food. Lindemeyer earned an Associate’s degree in culinary arts from the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute. Upon graduation, he joined the Cameron Mitchell Restaurants (CMR) team in 2000 as a line cook.
Over the years, Lindemeyer has worked at various CMR concepts, including Mitchell’s Steakhouse, Ocean Prime, Mitchell’s Ocean Club and most recently Cameron’s American Bistro. He was named CMR’s Executive Chef of the Year in 2005 and has opened several new restaurants for CMR.
Currently serving as the executive chef at CMR’s newest concept – The Avenue Steak Tavern Dublin – the greatest lesson Lindemeyer has learned in his professional career is that in order to lead a team, it’s important to develop a personal relationship with people, gain their trust and lead by example.
He resides in Worthington, Ohio. When Lindemeyer’s not busy in the kitchen, he enjoys camping, fishing and attending his children’s sporting events.
