For some, running a restaurant is a business. For us, it is our calling. Our passion for food and fine dining comes first, business second. We are a chef-driven restaurant. For you, that means fine dining at its best. We invite you to join us for an unforgettable culinary experience.

Elly Willman, general manager of The Avenue Steak Tavern, has worked in the restaurant industry all her life. In 2018, when The Avenue was opening in Dublin, Willman joined Cameron Mitchell Restaurants (CMR) and has served in a wide range of roles in her time at the restaurant, such as server, bartender, and a variety of management positions.
“Don’t take it personally, and perspective is everything,” Willman says when asked what her greatest lesson in her professional career has been. She also says that her favorite thing about working for CMR is, “having the privilege to work with great people, many of whom I hope to have in my life for a long time.”
A native of Central Ohio, Willman enjoys spending time with her family, her niece and her two Jack Russell Terriers. When asked for advice to those interested in a career in hospitality, Willman says, “work hard with pride and passion, and do your very best to take care of those around you.”

Alexia Sutter, executive chef of The Avenue Steak Tavern, comes from a family who has always owned restaurants, resulting in her always being in the industry in some way or another. Before joining Cameron Mitchell Restaurants (CMR) in 2021, Sutter accumulated nine years of restaurant experience, and she earned a degree in hospitality and business from The Ohio State University and a degree in culinary arts from the Art Institute of Rosslyn.
When asked what her favorite thing about working for CMR is, Sutter said, “The atmosphere! The positivity that radiates, company-wide, is amazing.” Sutter was also asked what her greatest lesson in her professional career is, to which she said, “To roll with the punches and always have plan A through Z mapped out in your head. There will be a lot of great days where everything goes accordingly, and there will be days where nothing does, so it’s best to be able to jump from plan to plan when you need to.”
A native of Madison, Ohio, Sutter now resides in Westerville, Ohio with her husband, George, and her four children, Olivia, Marley, Julian and Willow. Her favorite dish from CMR is the Coconut Sorbet from SoCal Kitchen + Bar. Outside of work, Sutter enjoys exploring metro parks around Columbus with her kids and their two dogs, as well as DIY projects at home.
